Belogorsk monastery

Belogorsky St. Nicholas Orthodox Missionary Monastery is a significant phenomenon in the spiritual life of the Kama region and one of the most famous cultural and historical sights of the Perm region. This place will be interesting not only for Orthodox, but also for tourists.

It is located in Kungur district, 12 km from the village of Kalinino. The monastery received its name from the mountain on which it arose. It was called white because the snow does not melt here for a long time, and in winter, in frosts, it is white and white from the cove, which covers trees and buildings.

The history of the monastery is difficult, but majestic and full of real miracles. The monastery was closed, temples were destroyed, fires and misfortunes occurred in it. But people rebuilt Belogorje again and again. The majestic temple stands on the mountain and seems to glow, and the heavenly dome shines directly above it under the bell ringing carried around the neighborhood. And there is an endless ocean of forest! And everyone on the White Mountain has a magical feeling, because this place is special and amazing!
