Permians are not “real kids.” The history of Perm is the history of the provincial capital, which saw many great people and arose thanks to the diligence and patriotism of merchants, urban residents who came to Perm from many cities of the Russian Empire.
We, sisters Anna and Sofia, whose ancestors were honorary citizens of Perm and Kungur, merchants, musicians, philanthropists, will be glad to share with you knowledge about the history of Perm: merchant, trade, theater, musical, multinational. To tell about it in the words of poets and writers who lived in Perm or being here in transit; the words of its inhabitants from past centuries.
The tour route passes through the entire historical part of the city, where the cultural heritage of Perm is concentrated in the late XVIII century - early XX century - from the factory village to the provincial capital, from Merchant Perm to Industrial Perm.
