Stone city and Usvinsky pillars by car up to 4 people

This is an individual tour by car for up to 4 people.

The duration of the trip is 12 hours or more.

Stone City is one of the most unusual places in the Perm Territory and the Urals. Huge stone blocks form the likeness of a city with its square and streets. And from the tops of the rocks opens a view of the expanses of the mountain taiga.

The Usvin pillars are an amazing rock massif with a height of 120 m, stretched along the bank of the Usva River. Separately standing Devil’s finger is the most recognizable natural object of the Perm region.

Tour programme:

7.00-8.00 - departure from Perm. Time can be adjusted at the request of tourists, the earliest departure is 6.00, late 9.00.

The road is 200 km in one direction, the journey time is 3-4 hours.

Stops:

• the village of Uspenka, where the history of the Stroganov dynasty, the campaign of Yermak and St. Tryphon Vyatsky
• café Ermak
• whitestone observation deck
• Usva village, where you can visit the pedestrian bridge over the river Usva and take a photo with the art object Happiness here

11.00-12.00 – Arrival to the trail in the Stone City. Walking part to the city - 1.5 km in one direction on a wooden deck without climbing. Walk, photo shoot, picnic in Stone City. The total visit time is 3 hours.

14.45 – transfer to the river Usva

15:00 – boarding a motor boat. Dropping to the Usvinsky pillars along the mountain river Usva, distance 5 km, duration 15 minutes. Inspection of pillars from the river, then climb to a height of 120 m along the forest trail. The walking part is 1 km in one direction, from which the steep climb is 250 m. Inspection of the surroundings from the height of the cliffs, a photo session, shouts and songs at will. Descent to the boat and departure by the river to the car. Total time to visit the pillars - 2-3 hours

18.00 – departure to Perm, the same road is 200 km, stop at the cafe Yermak at will

21.00 – arrival in Perm

Important! The presence of athletic shoes with a non-slip surface is ideal - trekking shoes.

! It is possible to replace the Usvin pillars with the Shumikhin rocks, which are 40 meters high. They are easier to climb and available for tourists with any level of training. In this case, renting a boat is not required, 2 km from the road can be walked.

Shumikhin rocks are a good alternative for lovers of quiet nature, without a large number of tourists. Suitable for those who are afraid of heights, people aged 60+ and who find it difficult to climb the mountain for a long time. From the height of the Shumikhin rocks, too, there is a view of the Usva River and the forest expanses of the taiga. Fans of ghost towns can inspect abandoned houses in the former mining village of Shumikhinsky.
