Geun village. Chusovaya River. Stones Giant and Furnace (on a snowmobile)

The village of Kyn is located on a site with a very complex terrain, on the banks of the Chusovaya River and the fast and noisy Kynok River flowing into it. These are the Ural foothills, so there are many high hills separated by rivers and lowlands with a very large elevation difference.

Geun attracts travelers with amazing nature, historical places and unusual monuments:

• "The Beginning of the Perm Territory." It was in Kynu that medallions made of bronze with the image of a bear were found. They are made in the Perm animal style. This is one of the earliest finds in the region.
• Holy Trinity Temple. Built in the XIX century on the initiative of the Stroganovs. Of particular value are the frescoes inside the temple. The temple is now being reconstructed.
• Alloy of Iron Caravans. On the shore of Chusovaya there is a monument in the form of a lot - a navigation device that slowed down the ship so that it did not crash into numerous rocks.
• Kynov ironworks. Several buildings built in the XVII-XVIII centuries have been preserved: a production building, a forge, a drawing, a locksmith workshop, a guard hut.
• Museum. Located in the former drawing house. This is the only building that is used in our time. Inside is an exhibition telling the history of the plant.
• Co-op shop. An old house with a plaque. Previously, it belonged to the first Russian cooperative.
• Pier. An old pier has been preserved, at which ships with the products of Ural plants stopped.

Special attention and admiration deserve the natural sights of the Chusovaya River, which can be easily and comfortably reached by boat.

• Stone Giant rightfully bears the title of the highest on the river Chusovoy. Its height reaches 120 m above the river, the length of the stone is about 1.5 km.
• The stove stone speaks for itself! The stone layers are located in an arc and resemble the vent of the oven. Previously, this stone was a fighter against whom barges fought.

• Travel on a comfortable crossover, I take tourists from the house / hotel, in the evening I bring them there.
• Excursion support on the entire route;
• A walk on a snowmobile along the river Chusovaya along the stones Giant and Pechka, as well as on the top of the Giant!!!
• Snack with hot tea, sandwiches with meat and cheese slices.

In addition, the following are paid:

• Entrance tickets and individual excursion service in the Kynovsky Museum of Local Lore;
• climb to the bell tower of the Holy Trinity Church (for the weather).
