Hell Lake

One of the truly mysterious places in the Perm region is Adovo Lake. Its existence is shrouded in many legends, to understand the truth of which is no longer possible. These are the tales of the hero Per conquered water Vakul and the mermaid Pike, dragging fishermen to the bottom. There are more modern beliefs about robbers and barrels of gold, and even about airplanes and radioactive waste.

But, despite all the legends, and the name itself, Lake Adovo is a magnificent monument of wild Northern nature. Transparent, exactly spring water, occupying an area of 370 hectares of white, quartz sand, bordered on all sides by swamps.

And only in one place - on the west bank, a small piece of solid shore, on which you can get to this wonder of nature. On the lake nesting geese, ducks. White swans were also spotted. You can catch a pike from the bowels. And in the district to collect blueberries, lingonberries, cranberries, cloudberries. Would Mother Nature really endow a dark and dangerous place with such riches?
