Perm

The beautiful bridge

street Kama Coast, Perm, Perm Territory, Russian Federation

Description:

Krasavinsky Bridge is one of three road and pedestrian bridges connecting the banks of the Kama River in Perm. It is the largest bridge in the Perm region, and also occupies a worthy place among all Russian bridges. The total length of the bridge is almost 1,737 meters. The name of the bridge was chosen from three variants as a result of competitive selection and comes from the name of the nearby area "Krasava", extending on the left bank of the river.

The construction was initiated by the administration of the Perm region. The first phase ended in 2005, when three lanes were built. In the second stage there was a bypass road. The opening of the bridge was an important step in the development of the city - thanks to its appearance, transit transport received the opportunity to bypass the western outskirts.
