Central Exhibition Hall of Perm

The "Exhibition Hall" has been in existence in Perm since 1976 and operates as a central city exhibition venue designed to showcase works of fine art.

In its activities, CVZ is focused primarily on contemporary art. During the years of existence of the Exhibition Hall, numerous contacts were established with Perm artists, as well as with artists, curators and art critics from other cities of Russia and foreign countries.

Being in the epicenter of the Perm art environment, the Exhibition Hall pursues its aesthetic line, supporting the originality of the Perm art school, analyzing the art market of Perm, trying to predict and anticipate the trends in its development.

The Central Exhibition Hall sees the development of the Perm cultural environment as the most important goal of its activity, as well as placing Perm art in the European and world artistic context. The emphasis in this direction is primarily on the support of professional fine art of contemporary authors, paying special attention to the work of young authors. Support for the creativity of young Perm authors is one of the prerogatives of the activity of CVZ, the Exhibition Hall oversees exhibition projects that help young Perm artists in the implementation of creative projects, and, as far as possible, tries to regularly hold exhibitions of young authors within its walls and outside them. Collaborating with Perm artists, the Central Exhibition Hall tracks new names and trends, features of the development of the Perm art situation, the most interesting artistic phenomena of the city.

The Central Exhibition Hall oversees exhibition projects that help young Perm artists in self-realization, and masters in the birth and development of innovative ideas. In "CVZ" there is a permanent Art Salon, where you can buy paintings and graphic works of modern artists, as well as sculpture and antiques.
