Krasnokamsk Art Gallery named after I.I. Morozov

Krasnokamsk Art Gallery was opened in 1997 and bears the name of the artist, teacher, founder of artistic life in the city, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR, Honorary Citizen of the city of Krasnokamsk - Ivan Ivanovich Morozov.

The art collection of the gallery deserves recognition as a historical and cultural value for the city of Krasnokamsk. Today the collection is represented by works of painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative and applied art and folk art. In permanent exhibitions and shifting exhibitions, visitors get acquainted with the works of various genres of famous masters of Russia and provincial artists, whose work is known only within the region.

The traditions that I.I. Morozov defined in terms of collecting, storing, and promoting fine art continue today. New exhibitions are opened, children's educational programs are working, interactive and theatrical programs, art projects for children and adults are held. The art gallery has become a venue for other significant events in cultural life - concerts of classical chamber and modern music, meetings with artists, master classes and children's programs.
