Museum of History of Perm State University

The Museum of History of Perm University was established in 1973. The museum contains collections of Greek and Egyptian objects in bronze, glass, bone and ceramics, Russian and Oriental decorative and applied arts, Western European graphics, which appeared at the university in the first decade of its existence (1916-1925). Some were donated by philanthropists and professors, others were bought from collectors or obtained after the nationalization of private collections. Since the 1970s, a foundation for the history of the university has been formed in the museum.
