The Suksun Museum of Local History was founded in 1977. Initially, it was located in the house of the breeder IG Kamensky. After the fire, the museum since 2001 is located on the street Pervomayskaya, 52, in the house of the servants of the Kamensky built in 1913.
The main expositions consist of collections of samovars of the late XIX - early XX century - this is the "Suksun-Plant" and "Suksun-Center of Copper Products", where the artisanal copper workshop was reconstructed. The exposition "Kamensky - entrepreneurs, philanthropists, patrons" introduces the history of the last owners of Demidov plants in Suksun.
In 2015, the museum received additional space in the building of the main office of Demidov factories. On the first floor there are expositions “Demidovsk plant in Suksun”, “From handicraft production to factory”, “The buzzer over the Suksun plant”, “Tea”.
