Swimming down the Visher River.

The route consists of two parts:
1. The road part of the route starts from the city of Krasnovishersk on a dirt road of not very good quality. The length of this part is 63 km and will take time (5-6 hours). It is recommended to make a stop on the mountain near the village of Volynka, for a general photo against the background of the mountain Memorandum stone. Then begins the bad road section. The end point of the route is Mutiha (bridge over the Akchim River).
2. The water part of the route starts from the bridge over the Akchim River. The Akchim River flows into the Vishera River opposite the non-residential village of Akchim. 3. Description of the main natural monuments encountered on this route.

1. Historic - natural complex Pisany stone is located on the right bank of the Visher River 6 km below the village of Akchim. The Pisanka River stone is divided into two parts. It is the right coastal slope of rocky exits of the reefogenic limestone of the Asselian tier of the lower Perm, breaking to the river up to 80 meters high with caves and grottoes. The stone received its name from numerous ancient drawings (writers), inscribed on it with light - red ochre: a bear, an elk, a fox and other animals. More than 300 rock images are scattered on the surface of the rock in separate groups. Groups of drawings are distinguished: the Neolithic era, images of animals, hunting scenes, fishing; the Bronze Age with schematic figures of a person; different eras of the Iron Age - figures of birds with a human guise on their chests, schematic images of a human face. Scientists believe that the surviving drawings are part of the map of primitive hunters. Stone with caves is an interesting natural object of scientific, cognitive and historical significance.
2. Stone Bull, in its caves found traces of ancient Ananyin culture. The caves, according to archaeologists, were used by ancient hunters. They found the bones of ancient animals.
3. The stone is peeled, all just permeated with numerous caves. The largest cave in the stone is called “Canyon”. The length of the cave reaches 90 meters. 4. The Talking Stone, which always responds with a long echo. Located on the right bank of the river Vishera in 5 km. flow from the village of Visherogorsk. The talking stone, in addition to its beauty, is remarkable because it transmits its echo very well. This phenomenon is explained by the arc-shaped shape of the stone wall, thanks to which not only the words spoken on the river, but also individual shades of sound are heard. There are many legends associated with the name of the stone. One of them says that when enemies approached the settlement near the stone, a fisherman saw them first and a battle ensued. Having died, the fisherman still managed to warn residents of the danger with a loud cry, and an echo appeared at the stone. The Talking Stone is an interesting object of tourism.
5. The Wetlan stone, the most majestic and famous stone of Visher. Located in the Krasnovishersky district of the Perm Territory on the left bank of the Visher River, 8 kilometers from the city of Krasnovishersk. The stone is a coastal outcrop of the Visher River, folded with limestones of the Permian age, has geological - geomorphological, botanical - geographical, archaeological, scientific - cognitive interest. This system of cliffs, starting at an altitude of 40 - 50 meters and reaching 100 meters from the edge of the Visher River, with a total length of 1750 meters, the absolute height of Vetlan - 263 meters above sea level. The reserve area is 328 hectares.
The name of the stone Vetlan - in the Komi language (vetlanin) means a place where you can drive (road). Also, this word Komi refers to a difficult road, a path. On the territory of the stone flows the river Vetlyanka - in the Komi language means "white willow, palm thickets." It follows that the name Vetlan comes from Komi and means a difficult road, laid through a palm grove or willow thickets.
Vetlan stone is of great importance as a tourist destination. Wetlan stone is associated with a beautiful legend. Once lived two heroes, Vetlan and Polyud. They were huge, equal in strength. They were only different in size and shape. Both heroes fell in love with the beautiful Visher and Visher they were both loved. Two heroes met in the battle for Visher. I threw Visher between the heroes, begged him to stop. They threw stones at each other through a girl. The fight lasted six days and six nights. The heroes collapsed, exhausted, bowed their heads to each other and petrified. And Visher turned into a river.
6. Polyud stone (it takes an additional 6 hours to visit). 10 km from the city of Krasnovishersk on the right bank of the river Visher there is a stone Polyud. From the river, the stone is visible in the form of a domed cap covered with forest. The height of the stone is 525 meters above sea level. It is also the main peak of the Polyudov range. The top of the mountain is a rocky platform, at the edges cluttered with stone blocks, which offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area. On the east side you can see a silver ribbon of the Visher River, winding among the thickets of the forest. In the west, a narrow ribbon of the Kolva River is slightly visible. Close to the east is the Wetlan stone, stretching like a fortress wall along the bank of the Visher River. The view is delightful, the terrain is visible at a radius of 50-70 km. The reserved area of the stone is 340 hectares. Climbing the stone is not difficult.
There are many legends associated with the stone. According to one of them, this is one of the heroes who fell in love with the beautiful Visher and in the struggle for her hand and heart petrified for centuries on her right bank. On the left bank petrified his rival. According to another legend, the Novgorod hero lived on the mountain, who guarded from the east the ancient capital of Perm the Great - Cherdyn. Once countless hordes of enemies approached the borders, saw their hero and entered into an unequal battle with them, but the strength of the enemy was greater. And then Polyud rose to the top of the mountain and drowned with such force that the river Visher overflowed and drowned the enemy. In honor of this mountain and received the name - Polyud, and on its top there is a trail of large sizes.
