A short abbreviation of the plant. It first opened its doors to workers in 1901. The main activity of the company was the repair of cars and locomotives. In fact, the plant flourished for about 20 years, until the war began. First Civil, then World War II.

During the internal feud, the plant retrained to repair armored trains. When the Germans attacked the Moscow region, the Great Luk enterprise was evacuated to Orenburg to a local locomotive repair plant. There, workers of the Pskov region continued to repair and manufacture armored trains. The building itself in the Great Bows was badly damaged during the hostilities.
