Excursion to Rostov the Great
Description:
Rostov the Great - the oldest city of the Yaroslavl region, it leads the chronology since 862! On the tour we will visit the legendary Rostov Kremlin, find out whether it was a defensive fortress. We will see the location of the filming of the beloved film “Ivan Vasilievich changes the profession”, and if you wish, you can be photographed in the costumes of Ivan Vasilyevich, Queen and Prince Miloslavsky. Not only will you learn everything about the history and architecture of the Kremlin, but you will also be able to take a leisurely walk in the Metropolitan Garden and try tea on local herbs. Then we will go to the ramparts of the XVII century with wobbly views of the lake Nero and the Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastery (we will also go there!). We will go up to the bell tower of the monastery and look at the ancient Mystery Courtyard. On the tour you will find temples of the XVI century with preserved paintings - and this is only part of our program!
