Many centuries ago, Rostov the Great was one of the cities to which Byzantium itself paid tribute! Moreover, the small village of Moscow appeared in the Lands of the Rostov Principality! Rostov the Great is 300 years older than Moscow. Every year more than half a million tourists come here! Rostov the Great is a small city today, but with a big history!

Above the water surfaces of Lake Nero proudly flaunts the ancient Rostov, called in Russia the Great. In most ancient Russian cities, the main attractions of Rostov the Great are concentrated on the territory of the local Kremlin, which we will visit during the excursion.
