Kremlin

WHITE

On Saturdays, a market opens in the old arched building. There is no rush, the heart of our city beats. The walk continues through the fortress ramparts of the city. Here hides the Ascension Church built by Ivan the Terrible with paintings and the chapel of the first Russian fool.

On the old street you can go to the Nikolo-Vspolskaya church, in which after a successful restoration time seemed to stop. Past the shopping rows we will reach the Cathedral. On the way to Uglich near the forest on the banks of the Ustye River lies the village of Borisoglebsky with the eponymous monastery. Here you can feel peace and quiet and see:

PERESLAW

See Pereslavl-Zalessky, a pretty town on the lake, much easier to get by car than by rail. It is the birthplace of Alexander Nevsky and the Russian Navy. Your guide will show you:

At the same time, N. K. Roerich conducted excavations at the Sarsky settlement. This inaccessible place was the predecessor of Rostov in the VII-X centuries. Only your guide knows the way there.

Medieval

This tour is for those who appreciate the history and aesthetics of the Middle Ages. Not a word that is younger than the XV century (almost). You will see the Prince's Court, fragments of ancient Russian planning, a defensive moat of the XIII century.

You can go to the archaeological expositions of the Rostov Kremlin and carefully look at the antiquities of the Cathedral.

In that case, if weather and time permit, you can go to the Sarsky settlement of the VII-X centuries, where Alyosha Popovich once lived. Also, with luck, we look into the temple, as if created in the XII-XIII centuries and remember the princes of Rostov.
