We will meet to visit places associated with the names of famous Ryazan people - the ancestor of pharmacology N. Kravkov, the poet S. Yesenin, the People's Artist of the USSR E. Garin, the founder of cosmonautics K. Tsiolkovsky, the first Russian Nobel laureate I. Pavlov, the Ryazan philanthropist Ryumin and others. You will learn about the intricacies of their fates, and how these fates are intertwined in the ordinary life of our countrymen. I will also tell you what the legendary hero of the Ryazan land Evpaty Kolovrat is known for and how an international conflict almost arose because of Ryazan V. Golovnin.
Our path will lie along the historic part of the city. We will see the monument to Evpatiy Kolovrat, which was created by sculptor O. Sedov in 2007 and symbolizes the struggle of the Ryazan people with the hordes of Tatar-Mongols led by Batu. You will also learn a lot of interesting details about our Ryazan.
