Excursion to the Yusupov Palace on Moika begins with the entrance to the estate of “former Yusupovs”, from 21a Decembristov Street. The palace is surrounded by an elegant park, which in recent years has been restored and becoming more beautiful.
The route will pass through the main halls and gallery to the theater and end on the “half of the young” exposition “The Murder of Rasputin”.
During the tour you will see the magnificent interiors of the palace and get acquainted with the saga of the Yusupovs - one of the oldest aristocratic families of the Russian Empire.
Shrouded in mysticism and incredible legends, the murder of Grigory Rasputin, the “holy elder”, who became in the early 20th century close to the family of the last emperor Nicholas II, occurred in this palace. The tragedy took place on the night of December 17, 1916 on the residential half of the young Prince Felix Yusupov.
The tour has a mini-group format of up to 10 people on schedule.
