Torbeyevskoye Lake is located in the Sergiev-Posad district of the Moscow region, which is within the Smolensk-Moscow hills, near the Yaroslavl highway - at the 78th kilometer, at a distance of 6 km east of the city of Sergiev Posad.
The area of Torbeyevsky Lake is 1.5 square kilometers, the depth reaches 5 meters. The reservoir was formed from a small lake that appeared after the construction of a dam on the Vondiga River flowing from the lake.
On the Torbeyevsky lake often rest residents of Moscow and Moscow region. On the shore of this reservoir there is a camp and a children's health camp. The lake is very loved by fishermen, because there are carp, roach, yarsh, perch and pike.
