Yakovlevo Manor

In the Sergiev-Posad district there is a beautiful old estate of the Barbashevs Yakovlevo, once belonging to the Grand Dukes of Moscow.

In this estate there used to be a parish school with an almshouse, a church with a bell tower, a hospital. In Soviet times there was a boarding school and a clinic. The old buildings have a good preserved appearance. The church was returned to the faithful.

In the lower temple on Sundays there are services. Beautiful places, where the estate is located, fascinate tourists and carry away in distant historical times.

Getting to these beautiful places will not be difficult. From Moscow you can go by train from the Yaroslavl station. We drive by car along the Yaroslavl highway towards Sergiev Posad.
