Sevastopol Museum "Aquarium"

The oldest aquarium-museum in Russia, one of the five largest European aquariums. The Aquarium has 5 rooms with different themes. Here you can see with your own eyes the diversity of living organisms from all over the planet: from just beautiful to disappearing.

Room 1. Coral reef dwellers. Consider near small fish, invertebrates and shrimp in a natural environment. Good for students, exciting for adults.

Room 2. It consists of 12 pools near the walls and 1 central. Here live representatives of “local” and tropical underwater “living”. Would you like to take a photo with a shark? Welcome back!

Room 3. Dozens of reptiles from the hot tropics in one exhibition. Creatures whose age is calculated by centuries. The favorite of the public is a spectacle caiman;

Room 4. Exposition - freshwater and reptiles. Feature: there is an aquarium-greenhouse, in the form of the ruins of an ancient temple of Cambodia;

Room 5. Ocean flora. You want to tickle your nerves? This is your place. Here are representatives of the underwater world, which in the natural habitat pose a mortal danger to humans: warts, fugu, electric eel. To experience a surge of adrenaline and remember a visit to the Aquarium for a long time is simple.

Free up time and buy a ticket. The old building, renovated at the end of the last century, accommodated exotic: African and South American freshwater fish. Here you will find huge stingrays, Orinoco catfish and one and a half meters arapai.
