Visiting our tour, you will become a conqueror of the three capitals of the Crimean Khanate: take a walking walk to the cave city of Chufut-Kale, explore from the height of Davlet Sarai and visit the Khan’s Palace in Bakhchisarai. And in order to regain strength and better feel the local atmosphere, we invite you to the Crimean Tatar cafe, where you will taste dishes of national cuisine and Crimean wines.

How will our tour take place:

At 8.30m on a comfortable excursion bus we go from Nakhimov Square on an exciting journey to the ancient capital of the Crimean Khanate - the city of Bakhchisaray. (Travel time is about 40 minutes).

Our first stop is the foot of the cave town of Chufut Kale. This is the most preserved of all the cave cities of Crimea. Originated in the VI century and before the foundation of Bakhchisarai (XV century) was the capital of the Crimean Khanate and the residence of the Crimean Khans. From here will begin a fascinating journey to the medieval settlement area of about 19 hectares (about 2.5 hours).

On the way you will visit the functioning rocky Assumption Monastery and see the miraculous icon on the facade of the cave temple (20min).

Visit Chufut Kale: caves of the monastery complex, an ancient Karaite cemetery, a siege well, defensive walls, fortress gates, pass through the streets of the ancient city, inspect the mausoleum of the daughter of Khan Tokhtamysh - Janike-Khanym, Karaite temples (kenas), outbuildings and admire the extraordinary panorama of the Crimea from a height of 558 meters above sea level to a plateau with inaccesible cliffs.

After the excursion to Chufut-Kala, we invite you to relax in a cafe with traditional national cuisine (1.5 hours).

And our way lies further, to the Khan's palace. You will visit a unique monument of the Crimean Tatar palace architecture accompanied by a museum guide (30 min.) Here you will see several palace buildings, the Hall of Divan, the chambers of the Khan, the harem, the Falcon Tower, the covered fountain courtyard with the Golden Fountain and the famous fountain of Tears, the small palace mosque, the northern and southern Dyurbe and the family khan cemetery next to the large palace mosque Khan Jami.

During the lavender flowering season, a pleasant bonus will be a visit to lavender fields in Turgenevka.

Return by bus to Sevastopol about 17.00 h.
