Lost in the mountains miracle lake. Milyan-Gol is an artificial reservoir, but this does not prevent it from entering the number of the most beautiful lakes of the Crimea, to which we will go after visiting the mystical museum, the only house-museum in the world.
House figures - materialized embodiments of the idea of home comfort and family well-being - are performed by masters of wood, the house of house museums in a dam of mainly fragrant breeds (cedar, juniper).
They are small – up to half a meter high. The reason is obvious – popular rumor ascribes small size to these creatures, because they should not be seen by the owners of the house. Wood is a favorite material of sculptors and the most suitable for embodiment in the reality of house. Faith in them is on a par with belief in the spirits of nature.
The owners say that they personally had to face the power of the house. Previously, they lived in the Kemerovo region and for fun carved a figure that for a magical reason turned out to look like Lenin. And everything was fine until they lost her while moving to Crimea. The house-museum was a reaction to the numerous troubles that began with Nikanorov at his new place of residence. The black strip stopped after a trip to Kemerovo, which allowed to find a previously made sculpture in a former house.
The Nikanorovs say that the housework speeds up their work and makes it successful. He has the ability to attract guests to the house, helps make new friends. He also calls his family members. Some of them travel later with those who came to foreign lands, and the owners have to carve new wooden figures - in the company of their patron. So in a fabulous form describe the creators of the purpose and way of work of the museum.
In the museum you can get acquainted with more than a hundred houses, households and houses of different shapes, sizes and character. The owners know many legends about these creatures (including foreign origin, because in other countries they also believe in them, although they call them differently) and willingly tell them. Some visitors are able to meet the fate of their home. There can be no mistake – if the visitor hesitates, then his patron has not yet been born.
He who has not hesitated to indicate his home spirit, can take it with him - the figures are sold. Those who are unlucky can try again on a second visit. Here you can also see carved icons and sculptures, they do not think to quarrel with the house.
