The Temptation of Paradise Tour

So, our journey runs along the Sevastopol-Yalta highway, through the Balaklava and Chokrak valleys, through the Laspin Pass to the southern coast of Crimea. On the Laspin Pass - the first stop (15 min.). You will climb to the observation deck, where tourists will have a magnificent panorama of Laspin Bay and Mount Ilyas-Kaya. Further along the way, you can admire the beautiful south-bank landscapes from the windows of the bus.

On the upper route, bypassing Simeiz, Alupka, Yalta, Massandra, Gurzuf, you will drive to the village of Partenit, where tourists will meet with a real Crimean “pearl” – modern park Aivazovsky.
This is a unique creation of modern builders, which year breaks all records of attendance of Crimean attractions. And it is not surprising: when creating the park, an unusually harmonious combination of the general interior of local landscapes with elegant motifs of “Versailles parks” was used. This approach creates a unique effect of the personification of the “feast of life on earth” – that is, the creation of “earthly paradise”. Aivazovskoye Park is a model park of the best parks and gardens in the world, in which you will see real fireworks of fountains, waterfalls, cascading streams, picturesque corners with exotic plants, more than six and a half thousand coniferous trees and 300 species of plants, as well as romantic arbors, marble sculptures, gardens of stones and fragrances.
Only a relict olive grove, whose age has exceeded three centuries, which is worth it! There is an exhibition dedicated to the ancient world and the colonization of the Crimea by the ancient Greeks. In addition to the old trees, which you can admire for hours, in the grove there is the famous rotunda gazebo, which has an unusual acoustic effect: if, standing in the center of the rotunda, you start talking, or sing, your voice will be heard even in the farthest corner of the grove!

Admiration is also caused by the staircase named after the former owner of Partenit and Karasan M. Raevsky and the semi-rotunda closing it. From here opens a stunning panorama of the bay and the park. The apotheosis of the park is a classic arbor with a marble sculpture “Priestresses of Secret Revelations”.

Endlessly admiring and enthusiastically considering the various plot parts of the park, you will not even notice how a tour of this amazingly beautiful corner of the Crimea will come to an end.
In the second part of the route, tourists will meet with Gurzuf – a magical resort town, where once young Pushkin spent three happy weeks, where the legendary Fyodor Chaliapin sang on one of the rocks and at the same time even the Italian orchestra in the restaurant on the Adalar rocks fell silent.

Impressive and delightful are also Gurzuf Rocks-Twins. Once there was an aristocratic restaurant “Venice”. Its visitors were revered with seafood caught here, in front of the guests. And in the evenings from the islands heard the sounds of wonderful melodies performed by Italian musicians.
