Excursion-Taraktash rock trek

It is time to start the easy mountain routes, we offer to your attention a very light, picturesque route that begins with Ai-Petri Mountain and descends to the foot of Yalta. The pedestrian route is about 7-10 km, only the descent, with a snack and water.

Taraktash trail originates on Ai-Petrinskaya yail. Taraktash (Turkish. tarak tash - "stone crest") is a depression on the Ai-Petrinsk rock, separated from the main wall by the crest of a rock. Very beautiful ledges, stone towers, layered structure, as if pancakes stacked in a stack. Accompanied by an experienced guide, we leave Sevastopol and move to the area of the village of Sokolinoe. First, we climb to the plateau of Ai-Petri, where you can visit the famous observation deck, which opens to us the unforgettable beauty of the SBC. Having saturated with beauty, having lunch in a cafe, we head towards the crossroads of Yalta-Bakhchisarai and Yalta-Ai-Petri roads. From there we go to the dirt road, and then to the path itself, which will lead us to the tract. Before the start of the descent, we will rest on a picturesque glade, from where dizzying views of Yalta and its surroundings open. A kilometer after a half or two descent will be complicated to the maximum, and we will find ourselves as if in a crack of a layer cake, impregnable rocks will grow around us - this is the Taraktash tract - the most beautiful place for which we organize our trip.

Here you and Taraktash Window, and Taraktash Fortochka, which overlooks Yalta, even Taraktash Tumba: The main thing is to turn on the imagination in time! Then we continue down the trail to the waterfall Wuchang-Su. The whole road down to Wuchang-Su, if you do not cut the serpentine mountain trail, will take a maximum of two hours. Our bus will meet us at the waterfall and take us home.
