Tour "Gurzuf Streets"

So, our journey runs along the Sevastopol-Yalta highway, through the Balaklava and Chokrak valleys, through the Laspin Pass to the southern coast of Crimea. On the Laspin Pass – the first stop (15 minutes). You will climb to the observation deck, where tourists will have a magnificent panorama of Laspin Bay and Mount Ilyas-Kaya. Further along the way, you can admire the beautiful south-bank landscapes from the windows of the bus.

Gurzuf is a truly magical place in Crimea. The valley in which this amazingly beautiful village is located is one of the most picturesque valleys on the peninsula.

The ancient Gurzuf park, like the village itself, once upon a time, in the middle of the XIX century became one of the first fashionable resorts in Russia. He owes his popularity to the efforts of entrepreneur Gubonin: it was he who built landscaped hotels in the village - those openwork wooden houses built in the then fashionable pseudo-Russian style. And the first casinos in Russia appeared here, in Gurzuf! The real decoration of the resort Gurzuf was its numerous various fountains, among which are the well-known fountains “Night” and “Rakhil”. We hope that you will appreciate the fabulous beauty of the fountain “Night”.
Who among the famous personalities did not rest in Gurzuf! Here, in the park, you will visit the alley, on which sculptures of famous Gurzuf guests are erected - these are busts to A. Mitskevich, L. Ukrainka, V. Mayakovsky, F. Chaliapin, M. Gorky, etc. There is a wonderful sculpture of Alexander Pushkin, and not one!

In 1820, the great Russian poet visited Gurzuf in the estate of A. Richelieu, the Novorossiysk Governor-General. Now in the Richelieu house there is a wonderful museum - the Pushkin Museum. And although a visit to this attraction is not included in the mandatory program of the route, and there is a museum on the territory of another sanatorium - Pushkino sanatorium, we highly recommend visiting here. Believe me, this is an extraordinary place, with an interesting exposition, with real Pushkin relics. But the main thing is with a stunning aura: in the touching small, but very cozy halls, the spirit of Pushkin seems to hover: it seems that now you will turn, and your favorite poet is here, by the window.

By the way, the Pushkino sanatorium will be remembered by you also for its park, or rather - its shrubs and plants, which the local gardener decorates with his amazing talent - the skill of garden topiary haircut. Just fascinating park pictures!
There is another object in Gurzuf worthy of your attention. This, of course, is the dacha of A.P. Chekhov. It is located in an amazingly picturesque place - at the foot of the Genevez rock, on a tiny cape. Once it was here that the great writer worked on the legendary play “Three Sisters”. The museum is wonderful, and the tour that the museum guide will give you is beyond praise!

Of all the above attractions, you can choose one and visit it, and then go to relax on the comfortable Gurzuf beach. Well, if you want to see everything, then if you try very hard and, in addition, do without a beach holiday, you can have time to get acquainted with all three objects!
And, of course, do not forget to admire and take photos of the main gurzuf jewelry - amazing landscape monuments - Bear Mountain (Ayu-Dag) and Skal-Twins (Adalar)! Bear-mountain, admittedly, is a memorable landmark not only Gurzuf, but also a natural heritage of the entire Crimean peninsula. No wonder! The original, sea-sided outline of Ayu-Dag is well visible from various points of the Crimean coast. The fabulous silhouette of the mountain resembles a huge bear that fell to the sea, in connection with this picture of Ayu-Dag, many different legends are composed. But the main story of the Bear Mountain is that it has become a real calling card, a kind of emblem of the Crimea.

Impressive and delightful are also Gurzuf Rocks-Twins. Once there was an aristocratic restaurant “Venice”. Its visitors were revered with seafood caught here, in front of the guests. And in the evenings from the islands heard the sounds of wonderful melodies performed by Italian musicians.
