Eastern Crimea is really special: even in our time a little wild, very romantic, with impregnable cliffs, mysterious grottoes, fabulous coves, the smell of steppe grasses and ancient cities.

In our excursion we will visit the ancient Feodosia, whose name means "God given" and make a beautiful sea walk along the extinct volcano Kara Dag to the "Golden" Gate.

How the tour will go:

• At 8:00, we set off from Nakhimov Square. (Travel time is about 2.5 hours, sanitary stop is provided)
• Feodosia - "God-given" is famous for many kilometers of sandy beaches, many health resorts, mineral springs and therapeutic mud. But especially Theodosius is famous for its ancient history and numerous monuments and attractions, which we will get acquainted with today:

I.K. Aivazovsky Art Gallery is one of the oldest and most famous in the world. The house where the famous marine painter lived and worked for more than half a century was the center of cultural life of the region.

Today, the gallery collection is a unique complex of paintings, graphics, archival documents, memorial items and art objects. More than 13,000 copies in total. The basis of the collection is the works of the "singer of the sea" - I.K. Aivazovsky. A total of 416 paintings and graphics.

The house - A. Green Museum - another treasury of Feodosia. The house where A. Green lived and worked is today one of the most popular museums in the Crimea. Here were written the famous "Running on the waves", "Road nowhere" and much more. The exposition of the museum reproduces the details of the life and work of the writer and the fantastic world of his literary heroes. At the entrance there are anchors, oak doors. Instead of the usual rooms - the frigate hold, Captain Gray's cabin, clipper, rostral, Wandering cabin.

A tour of the ancient city will take you back many centuries. You will see the remains of the ancient fortress of Kafa, one of the most powerful in Europe, the tower of St. Constantine, built in 1382, the slave market, from where Roxolana was taken. At the end of the holiday in Feodosia you will have lunch and, if you wish, visit the store of natural Crimean cosmetics.
