Beautiful informative excursion to the southern coast of the Crimea to Foros, through the picturesque Baidar valley, Baidar Pass and Baydar Gate along the old Vorontsov road.

Excursion route: Sevastopol - Baidar Valley. Skelskaya cave, Skelsky menhirs - Baidar pass - Baidar gate - Foros temple - Vorontsov road - Foros - Sevastopol.

We start the tour at 8-30 in Nakhimov Square. Accompanied by an excursion story and sightseeing, we come to the Baidar Valley.

This is one of the largest, fertile and picturesque valleys of the Crimean Peninsula. More than 4 thousand years ago, people have already settled here, having appreciated the uniqueness of this place. But even today, these places keep the corners of untouched, virgin nature, with its unique juniper groves, coniferous and mixed forests, incomparable pastures and dozens of lakes, waterfalls and rivers.

The most ancient landmark of the Baidar Valley is the Skelskaya Cave, which is more than 1 million years old and which you can visit today. It's a real fabulous kingdom. The cave is unique, beautiful, comfortable to visit and is located very close to Sevastopol. The tour lasts 1 hour.

Not far from the cave is another ancient monument - Skelsky menhirs - vertically standing boulders. Experts believe that they were installed by primitive people more than 4 thousand years ago. According to legend, menhirs are installed at the intersection of two powerful underground rivers and are a place of release of huge positive energy, which allows to heal many diseases and give a person strength. You can see for yourself whether it is true or not, having visited this amazing place.

Baidar Pass. Having got acquainted with the sights of the Baidar valley, along the Old Vorontsov road we go through the Baydar pass to the southern coast of the Crimea.

The Baidar Gate is a symbolic entrance to the South Bank.

Foros temple on the Red Rock. Visit 30 minutes

After lunch (1 hour) we continue our way to another South Bank village - Foros. Here we will get acquainted with the estate of tea magnate Alexander Grigorievich Kuznetsov on the very shore of the sea in a picturesque park. You will be delighted with the Kuznetsov Palace, which we will explore externally and a beautiful park, where we will walk with you. A walk in the park "Paradise Corner" lasts about 1 hour and ends with a rest on a pebble beach. (1.5 h)

Return to town around 17:00. 30 minutes.
