Travel to Sevastopol
Description:
On the most beautiful road along the coast, we get to Sevastopol and make a stop at Sapun Mountain. This is a large memorial complex dedicated to the liberation of Sevastopol during the Great Patriotic War.
We continue further and find ourselves at the Panorama of the defense of Sevastopol during the Crimean War.
After passing through the city, we will be in the center of Sevastopol. We will see the Monument to the Flooded Ships and the Count's Wharf, and walk along the Embankment - along the Primorsky Boulevard. Also here you can walk on a boat through the bays of Sevastopol, see the fleet and the city itself from the sea.
To complete the tour, we will inspect Chersonesos Tauride and New Chersonesos. This ancient city was founded about 2.5 thousand years ago and preserves traces of Hellenic, Roman and Byzantine cultures. Chersonese is known primarily for the fact that according to the “Tale of Bygone Years”, it was here that Prince Vladimir was baptized.
