The average water temperature in June is more than 20 ° C, in July - 23 ° C and August - 24 ° C. Swimming season, like velvet, lasts until the end of September - early October. Simultaneously with the construction of the palace in Mellas, a park of more than 12 hectares was laid. The cliffs of yaila, at the foot of which the park is broken, are majestic and indescribably beautiful in their naturalness. On the slopes grows a dense forest of juniper and oak, among which there are islands of unique Sudak pine, growing exclusively on the southern coast of the Crimea.
