Travel time will fly by quickly. You will see a sightseeing tour accompanied by an interesting excursion story.
- Sudak. Its main attraction is the Genoese fortress. It is a unique historical monument of the Middle Ages. The building is located on the Fortress Hill at an altitude of 157 meters and covers an area of 30 hectares. (duration of the excursion is 40 minutes).
- Lunch. 1 o'clock.
- Moving to the village of New World. Here is the famous trail Golitsyn or Falcon trail - carved on the slope of the mountain trail along the sea. It was laid back in 1912 for the arrival of Nicholas 2. Currently, it is a popular route with a length of 5,470 meters.
It is believed that the village got its name after Nicholas 2 walked along the trail, and then tasted local champagne and said: "I saw life in a new light!" And the path along which Nicholas 2 walked was called the Golitsyn Trail. Along this path, along the coast, past the Blue, Green and Blue Bays, you are walking today:
- Blue Bay. King's Beach. Behind Cape Kapchik there is a view of the Blue Bay. This place was chosen for rest by royal persons. That's why the beach is called Tsarsky. But now the beach is closed, we can admire the Blue Bay only from afar and will continue along the Bay of Blue. The Bay of Blue and Blue is separated by Cape Kapchik, an ancient coral reef. In the middle part of the cape there is a 77-meter through grotto. Now it is impossible to visit, and in ancient times, during the times of the Taurus and the Greeks, pirate ships hid there.
- Chaliapin's Grotto. Our way lies further, past the grotto of Chaliapin. This is a large, natural grotto, carved by sea waves in the Koba Kaya mountain. The height of the grotto is 30 meters, the width is 17. In the Middle Ages there was a Christian cave monastery. Later there was a winery Golitsyn. Stone arches, vaults for champagne, have survived to this day. It is believed that Chaliapin himself sang on the stone stage in this grotto and a glass of champagne broke from his strong voice. Therefore, the grotto was named in his honor.
- Green Bay. On its shore we are waiting for a rest on the beach and the completion of the route. (1 hour)
- The bonus of our excursion is the branded wine store "New World".
Return to Sevastopol at 20 hours - 21 hours.
