Sevastopol

South bay

Sevastopol, Russia

Description:

The southern bay is the second largest bay after Sevastopol. The bay with its location was convenient for ship parking. At one time, the entire Black Sea Fleet of Russia was accommodated in the Gulf.

Currently, the bay is the largest transport center. The port and railway station are located there.

There are no beaches for swimming on the territory, as places for divers - almost everywhere there are berths near which military vessels and large civilian ships moor.

Various excursions are popular around the harbor, in which they talk about a large floating hospital, rocket catamarans and other marine equipment.

The southern bay is away from the sea. Thanks to steep approaches to the shore, even large ships can moor to the pier without problems. There are several public transport stops near the South Bay, which makes it easy to reach the desired destination.
