Sevastopol

The most diverse Sevastopol

Description:

Sightseeing tour of Sevastopol: Count's Wharf, Nakhimov Square, Primorsky Boulevard, the memorial to the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942, the monument to the commander of the heroic brig "Mercury" A. I. Kazarsky - the very first monument in the city, the symbol of Sevastopol - a monument to the sunken ships.

Depending on your interests and desires, we will visit some of the many sights of the city, remembering that even if you have been to Sevastopol more than once, there will still be iconic places you have not explored. Here are some of the well-known museums: Historical boulevard and panorama "Defense of Sevastopol 1854-1855"; places of heroic battles on Sapun Mountain, exhibition of military equipment and diorama "Storm Sapun Mountains May 7, 1944"; Malakhov Kurgan; museum historical and memorial complex "35th Coast Battery", naval historical museum of the Black Sea Fleet, naval museum "Mikhailovsky Battery", historical and archaeological museum-reserve "Chersones Tauric".

We can also visit Cape Fiolent: admire its high steep cliffs, go down the stairs with several hundred steps to one of the beaches in secluded coves. Take a walk along the Sevastopol Bay: an economy option is possible - on a scheduled sea tram or ferry or a tour on a tourist ship or boat with an approach to warships standing in the bay.

We can visit Balaklava - a charming town with a rich history, now Balaklava district of Sevastopol, located on the banks of the winding Balaklava Bay. There is also free entertainment: a walk along the famous Promenade des Anglais, climb to the ruins of the Genoese fortress of Chembalo (yes, the Genoese lived here, as well as along the entire Crimean coast). There are also museums: the Balaklava History Museum, the Balaklava Underground Museum Complex (object 825 GTS) - a former top-secret anti-nuclear facility with a submarine repair shop, safely hidden in a bay under the thickness of a granite mountain slope. And of course, the favorite entertainment in Balaklava is a sea trip with an exit from Balaklava Bay and, in season, with a swim in the open sea or on one of the beaches lost in small coves in the rocks.

The park of living history “Fedyukhin Heights”, located above Balaklava, on the thematic platforms of which you can “dive” into the historical events that took place in the Crimea in different epochs, starting from Antiquity. Near the park, you can make a military-historical tour of places of military glory, shoot from military weapons and travel to the BRDM.

Another possible “trick” of our tour is walking through the little-known places of the hero city. For example, on the Central City Hill, where we can see the oldest residential building in the city, the most “British” building of Sevastopol, “Parthenon”, streets-stairs, wind tower and other interesting things.

And finally, a gastronomic program for a variety of tastes is possible: dishes from Black Sea fish and seafood in fish restaurants on the embankment of Sevastopol and Balaklava, author’s cuisine from Sevastopol restaurateurs, pasta in the fleet (maybe you dreamed about this) in the “Soviet” dining room, excursions to wineries and tasting quiet and sparkling wines of terroirs of the Sevastopol region.

Of course, we can’t even come close to visiting all of these in one day. But the task of choosing among all the variety of opportunities those that will allow you to spend an unforgettable day in Sevastopol with our participation is our hard work, which we will gladly perform together with you. It's gonna be great!
