In one day we will be able to visit two amazing places at once - the family estate of the great Russian composer M.I. Glinka and the center of Russian culture of the turn of the XIX - XX centuries - the former estate of M.K. Tenisheva.

We will visit the former estate of M. K. Tenisheva. Where, thanks to the efforts of the hostess, a special creative atmosphere was created, which attracted and inspired the creation of masterpieces by famous artists, sculptors and musicians. You will see the famous fabulous house “Teremok”, designed by S.V. Malyutin and representing a true masterpiece of Russian architecture, the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit with a unique mosaic of N.K. Roerich, as well as other extant sights of the “Silver Age of Russian Culture”.

Enjoying the original beauty of “Russian Athens”, as the estate of M. K. Tenisheva was called by contemporaries, we will move to the village of Novospasskoye – the birthplace of the founder of Russian classical music M. I. Glinka. In the family estate located on the bank of the Desna, the authentic atmosphere of the Russian estate of the XIX century with shady alleys of centuries-old oaks and cascades of ponds is felt. The church in which the parents of the future composer were married was preserved, and he himself was baptized in it. Created in the Novospassky Museum M.I. Glinka is the only one in Russia.

Having visited the estate, inhaling its “balsamic” air, many still repeat the words of the great composer: “Novospasskoye is an earthly paradise!”
