I.N. Glinka, the father of the composer, in 1810-1812 he rebuilt the house - 27-room, two-storey, on a stone foundation.

The estate, which became the ancestral nest of the composer M.I. Glinka, was surrounded by a luxurious park - it is not surprising that, according to legend, at the time of the birth of the future composer, the nightingale sang under the windows.

The basis of the exposition was the original objects from the family home in Novospasskoye, belonging to M.I. Glinka, handed over at one time by the composer’s relatives.

Novospasskoye is now called “earthly paradise”. For someone, a visit to the museum is an opportunity to plunge again into the atmosphere of the charming music of Glinka, for someone - a real discovery.
