Master class on rag dolls

In the 18th and 19th centuries, almost all rural children made such toys and dolls from scraps of fabric. During their lives, the children made up to 20-25 different dolls and toys, in the future, teaching their children these skills.

At our master class, guests of Suzdal have the opportunity to try to make toys similar to the old ones - rag dolls from scraps of fabric. It can be a doll-screw, doll-herbal, doll-made of thread or a small amulet.

The master class is conducted by the artist-restorer, if necessary, helps participants during the lesson. Also, the master class is accompanied by an oral story and historical introductory materials about needlework in Russia.

The master class can be held both for families with children and for groups of tourists, numbering up to 30-35 people at the same time. Pre-booking and coordination of conditions, venue of the master class are required.
