Suzdal is so rich in churches that it can be called the capital of Russian Orthodoxy.
In the XVIII century in small Suzdal there were fifteen active monasteries. There are only five left today. You will visit three of them - in Pokrovskoye, Spassky and Vasilievsky. You will learn the interesting history of Suzdal monasteries, hear monastery legends and were, enjoy the man-made bell ringing.
