Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve was founded in 1958, for half a century it turned from a modest provincial museum into one of the largest museums in the country. Today, the museum has 45 expositions in Vladimir, Suzdal and Gus-Khrustalny, 8 exhibition halls, 64 architectural monuments, 7 of which are included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List: Golden Gate, Uspensky, Dmitrievsky Cathedrals of the XII century. in Vladimir, Christmas Cathedral of the XIII century., the ensemble of the Spaso-Eufimiev Monastery, the oldest monuments of Bogolyubov and Kideksha.
