Excursion to the Suzdal Kremlin and the Spaso-Eufimiev Monastery
Description:
In the Suzdal Kremlin we invite you to visit the white-stone Christmas Cathedral (XII century), to see the unique “Golden Gate”, made in the technique of “fire gilding”. The road from the Kremlin will lead to the former commercial and craft part of the city - Posad with the Gostiny Dvor and the main square. Outside the posada stands the ancient Rizopolozhensky Monastery (XIII century) with the Holy Gate and a 72-meter bell tower, which overlooks the city and the surrounding area. In the northern part of the city is the Spaso-Eufimiev Monastery (XIV century), surrounded by powerful walls and towers. On the territory of the monastery is the Transfiguration Cathedral (XVI century), which preserved paintings of the famous isograph Guri Nikitin (XVII century).
