Description:

Traveling along the Golden Ring of Russia, I recommend visiting the beautiful city of Suzdal.

In a unique ancient Russian city is the estate of the merchant Likhonin. Russian nature is really picturesque, near the Kamenka River.

There is an old Russian house on the hill. Just two floors. Construction supposedly 18th century. The house belonged to the ancient merchant family Likhonin.

The bottom of the house is made of stone, the second floor is built of wood. The uniqueness of the object of architecture is that it now works as a museum-hotel. The house is a model of life of that time. The oak doors open our way in. The windows of the lower part of the house are decorated with plating. The interior of the house is quite large. There are the necessary facilities, as well as devices used at that time.

Among the household utensils you can see a chest, dishes of that time, napkins with embroidery. There's a Russian stove in the house.

The first floor is a huge hall used, and for rest and meals. The room is decorated with a merchant's buffet. There are hotel rooms on the second floor.

How do I get there?

There is a comfortable bus from Moscow. He's leaving the Shchelkovskaya metro station. Next on the map to find the address: Slobodskaya street, 34. There are direct buses from Vladimir.
