Underground

d. Tomsk, Lenin Avenue, 46

About the company:

“Old brick walls, low vaults, a small lit patch of almost improvised scene and the smell of strong coffee and cigars melting to the sound of a saxophone. On the day of the concert, all the tables, and even the chairs behind the bar, are dismantled a week ahead - so you could start a trip to almost any classical jazz establishment in the world. A place saturated with the charm of music, a slight hoarseness in the voice, some special, cozy attraction. That is how, since the end of 2004, this trip can be started in Tomsk, in a small basement in the city center, called the Underground jazz cafe. An institution that gives you the opportunity to touch the living art of sound and find yourself in a truly jazz atmosphere. A few steps down, a small hall - here you will be offered and tender salmon with fresh salad, and a glass of tart wine, and just prepared strong fragrant coffee. And for dessert, entangled in the labyrinth of berry pie, wrapped in a cream cloud of bitter chocolate. And then they will distract completely from the culinary delights, bringing down on the gourmet traveler a waterfall of live, electrified jazz sounds. When he lets go, you will see that everything is as it should be. A little spot of the stage, reach out and touch the flickering bend of a visiting star saxophone. Wood and black metal are the twilight gothic of chairs and tables. The eccentric outlines of the giant eyes, nose and ear are a surreal replica of Michelangelo’s realism. When you return for breakfast, you will sleepily melt under a light morning lounge. Before the eyes, on the big screen, mute, black and white shots of the beginning of the last century will be flickered through. Then, when you set foot on a foreign land, sitting in a similar basement somewhere on 131 West 3rd Street, and looking at a familiar star saxophone, you will realize that it has already happened. Somewhere far away, maybe behind the wall: walk out the door, climb the stairs and duck into a familiar avenue... or is it somewhere on 131 West 3rd Street, NY? The essence of any project can most reliably tell the facts: • at the heart of the jazz cafe kitchen - a light, improvisational style of fusion, combining fresh products and a fresh approach to them; • for the preparation of dishes that are served in the Underground, various technological additives and semi-finished products are not used - only natural products and the skill of chefs; • in the jazz cafe menu on the court of connoisseurs there is an extensive drink card and an original cocktail card, a well-thought out of cigars; • almost all interior details, including furniture, were designed and made specifically for jazz films; a collection of jackpots - the film is a Kife from a total of the film - a Kife, as a jackpot, a collection of the film - a job, a bag of the film - 26 jackpot, a total of the film - job, and a collection of the film - job. Lumiere, Fritz Lang, Friedrich Murnau, Robert Vine, Lenny Riefenstahl, Yakova Protazanova, Abram Roma, Alexandra Dovzhenko; • in the jazz-cafe library there are compositions of various jazz and consonant directions; • for the first concert season in the Underground in 7 concert programs there were 12 concerts of Russian and foreign jazz stars; • from December 2004 to June 2005 in jazz-cafe were performed by Richie Cole (USA), Bobby Martinez (USA), Kirovoshimov (Novostirovskva), Kirkvaria (Novoskova), Kirov (Novoskova, Russia), Kirkvariy (Novoskova (Novoskova), Kirkvariy (Novoskova), Kirkvariy (Novoskova), Kirkvariyevskova (Novoskova), Kirkvariy (Novoskova (Novoskova), Kirkvariy (Novoskova), Kirov
