Mikhail Krug Museum

To the work of the artist poet and musician Mikhail Krug can be treated differently, but it is difficult to deny the huge impact that he had on modern Russian culture. This popular performer worked in the genre of Russian chanson, and many of his works are known even to those who are not interested in such music. Mikhail Krug is known throughout Russia and far beyond its borders, but one city has a special attitude to him.

In Tver in the club "Azurny", where Mikhail Krug loved to relax and about which he wrote in many of his songs, in 2007 the museum of this artist was opened. The exposition occupies one of the halls of "Azurny".

Here among the mirrors and blue shiny walls are placed personal belongings of the musician: his personal mug, hat and cane. A separate wall is occupied by all albums of the artist, the other is dedicated to photographs. Many of the available pictures are little known even to fans of Mikhail Krug. They cover not only concert and public activities, but some personal moments of the artist’s life.
