Uglich Orthodox (Holy shrines of Uglich)
Description:
During the tour you will visit three active monasteries of Uglich. These are the oldest monasteries in Russia. You will learn the history of these monasteries, as well as get in touch with the most revered Orthodox shrines of the city, including the healing icon "Candle of the inextinguishable fire of the immaterial."
Also, if possible, you can visit the only church of the city, which was not closed even in the Soviet years - the Church of Tsarevich Dimitri "on the field."
