Uglich State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum

The territory of the Uglich Kremlin, where the museum is located, is a unique natural landscape and archaeological monument. Its architectural ensemble includes seven buildings and structures built in the XV-XIX centuries. The memorial exposition in the church of Tsarevich Dimitri on blood contains things related to the death and canonization of Tsarevich Dimitri the younger son of Ivan the Terrible. In the upper floor of the Palace of specific princes, in ancient carved windows, there is an exhibition of Uglich antiquities: silverware, sewing, wooden sculpture and other samples from the collection of decorative and applied art.
