Kayak rafting on the rivers Sutka-Ild
Description:
One of the small, but famous for its natural resources, is the left tributary of the Volga - the Sutka River. The day has a mostly calm current and runs through a sparsely populated area. Its shores are mostly moderately steep.
The peculiarity of the channel makes it possible for tourist rafting on kayaks, the optimal start time of which falls at the end of May. The presence of a large number of mushroom places, blueberry lingonberry and cranberry fields, abundantly strewn with berries throughout the summer, provides an additional influx of outdoor enthusiasts.
Ilde and Day merge near the confluence of the Rybinsk Sea. Both rivers are popular with fishermen, especially in spring, when the Volga fish begins to spawn from the depths of the reservoir.
