Museum of military equipment UMMC

The UMMC Museum of Military Equipment is considered one of the largest Russian exhibition venues of military-technical profile.

The open exposition occupies 5 hectares. The area of exhibition premises is 7000 sq.m. The museum contains more than 200 units of military equipment, unique collections of domestic awards, military regalia, models of cold and firearms. The exposition includes uniforms, equipment, insignia of the Russian armed forces from the XVIII century to the present day. The railway exposition is open. A separate area of work to preserve historical memory is the restoration of exhibits. The cars put on the move take part in the annual solemn procession on May 9 in Upper Pyshma.

In November 2015, the museum was awarded the memorial sign of the Russian Military Historical Society “The Best Museum of Military History”. The museum was created to preserve the memory of the heroic past of our Motherland and the military-patriotic education of young people. Therefore, the museum conducts open history lessons, children's circles of local history, poster modeling and the history of weapons, military historical games for schoolchildren are held.

Near the UMMC Museum of Military Equipment, the Museum of Automotive Engineering operates, forming a single exhibition complex. Today it is one of the largest collections of retro cars, motorcycles and bicycles in Russia. The exposition with an area of more than 3500 sq.m. is temporarily placed on the territory of JSC Uralelectromed, which can be accessed by ticket of the Museum of military equipment on a special bus, which runs five times a day from Wednesday to Sunday from the Museum of military equipment at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:30.

Exhibition center: from 10:00 to 18:00, Wednesday - Sunday. Open area (November to April) from 10:00 to 18:00, Tuesday - Sunday.
