Primorsky regional puppet theater

The Primorsky Regional Puppet Theater was founded in 1939. The first director - A.A.Prysiazhnyuk (later known actor and director, People's Artist of the USSR). The first director is I.A. Mikhailovskaya. The first troupe includes artists L. Dubrovsky, V. Topor, V. Fisenko, V. Kochetov. The first production is “The Caterpillar” by N. Gernet. In different years, the theater was headed by directors A. Romanov, I. Liozin, I. Spector, N. Kostryukov, T. Mazin and others. The main artists are G. Kutin, E. Pyzhov, E. Turkish, V. Prosvirnina. The theater went on tour to many regions of Russia and all regions of Primorye. Foreign tours - Poland (1989), South Korea (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003), Japan (1995, 1997, 2001). Initiator and organizer of the International Festivals of Puppet Theatres of the APR “World of Puppets” (Vladivostok, 1996, 1999). Participant of All-Russian festivals in Tomsk (1989), Abakan (1985), Komsomolsk-on-Amur (2004, 2005). Tour of the Far East: Khabarovsk (2006), Blagoveshchensk (2007). The theater is a laureate of the prize of the Komsomol of Primorye (1985), diplomas of the Administration of the Primorsky Territory, the Department of Culture of the Territory, the regional committee of trade unions. In the theater for many years worked honored artists of Russia V.A. Pokulevsky, N.A. Penkova, L.S. Krasnokutskaya, L.Y. Ovchinnikova. Music for performances was written by famous seaside composers V.E. Libersky and A.I. Tikhonov.
