Description:
Russia is famous for its vast expanses, noisy rivers, green forests and, of course, ancient cities, hero cities, cities that are world heritage.

Each of them is unique in its own way and became famous in different times, whether it is the history of the pre-Mongol period, the incredible heroism of the Great Patriotic War or the charming combination of the desire for development in the XXI century and the careful attitude to the monuments of past eras.
1. suzdal
Hit among the cities of the Golden Ring, the “named brother” of the glorious city of Vladimir, located a couple of tens of kilometers from the city limits, Suzdal at any time of the year is attractive for a traveler who wants to get acquainted with the original antiquity, with the very Rus. Founded in 999, the city slowly entered the 21st century, without losing the flavor of the millennium. Having the proud title of an open-air museum, Suzdal does everything to maintain it: carefully preserves its monuments, respects the sights, respects the rich expositions of its museums. Among the specially protected monuments of Suzdal are the UNESCO-marked white stone monuments of Suzdal and Vladimir of the pre-Mongol period. Also of constant interest to the guest of Suzdal are excursion tours to Bogolyubovo, in the vicinity of which there is a beautiful Church of the Intercession on the Nerli, as well as to Vladimir, where the second part of white stone monuments, and, of course, the famous Golden Gate. You can book a hotel in Suzdal here.
2.Volgograd
The hero city directly holds its back, standing on the banks of the majestic Volga River. When Stalingrad, the city took one of the bloodiest battles in the history of the Great Patriotic War, which became synonymous with unprecedented courage, strength and greatness of the human spirit - the Battle of Stalingrad. The events of that time are described with scrupulous accuracy by the circular panel “The Defeat of the German Fascist Troops at Stalingrad” in the museum-panorama “The Battle of Stalingrad”. The museum building is located between two iconic buildings – the Pavlov House and the Gergardt Mill, involved in the fierce battle of 1943. The house became one of the first buildings of the city, restored in the postwar period, and the mill remained intact as a living witness of those terrible days. The feat of the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad is immortalized in the memorial complex Mamaev Kurgan, where the famous figure “Motherland Calls!” is located, to the foot of which two hundred steps lead, each of them symbolizes one of the days of the battle. In total, the complex includes more than 20 compositions. Volgograd is a major tourist center. Booking a hotel by photo or reviews of guests will not be difficult.
3. Kazan
The capital of the glorious republic of Tatarstan has already celebrated its millennium anniversary and looks to the future with interest. Kazan is perhaps one of the few cities that with ease and oriental wisdom manages to combine things that for another place would become a stumbling block. For example, the cohabitation of representatives of many faiths, the meeting of church and secular in one territory, the mixing of cultural codes of completely different traditions.
This also includes the restoration of monuments centuries ago (we are talking about the famous mosque Kul-Sharif, destroyed by Ivan the Terrible during the capture of Kazan and restored to the 1000th anniversary on the territory of the Kremlin) and the construction of monumental buildings of the 21st century (we are talking about the so-called Palace of tillers – the building of the Ministry of Agriculture, which due to the pomposity of architecture is called the palace).
