“Massandra – from the Vorontsov estate to the imperial one”

The nearest eastern suburb of Yalta, thanks to a powerful source of water, unique soils and talented owners, has become a wine brand of the Crimea. The head factory itself with its huge winery requires a separate tour.

But the wine starts in the vineyard. I want to show you the largest wine estate of the Coast: with forest lands, gardens, vineyards and wine cellars, with climatic stations, the imperial sanatorium.

The tour will begin in the upper part of Massandra from the palace of Alexander III. We will inspect its picturesque facades, decoration of the upper and lower terraces, the engine yard, and, slowly descending through the “town of winemakers”, past the old wine cellar of Count Vorontsov built in 1830, we will get to the Massandra Park (40 hectares).

Its paths remember the grand walks of the imperial family and young lovers - after all, the famous pink alley is a place of romantic meetings!

The seaside part of the park is a unique climatic zone: sea aerosols, a variety of conifers and gentle slopes - an ideal terrenkur with elements of breathing gymnastics. Breathe!

Through the building of the I-th Marine sanatorium named after Alexander Fedorovna and the chapel of Nikolai Udnik, the patron saint of sailors, we will get to the top of the Polikurovsky hill (a favorite place of Ivan Bunin).

Old town. Vorontsov Sloboda, the first Orthodox temple of Yalta. Narrow streets, through picturesque courtyards, we will go down to the city center, where our walk will end.

The length of the route is about 6 km.

The price includes an individual tour on a pre-agreed route and theme, on foot or by car, up to 12 people at work from 3 to 6 hours a day. The cost of entrance tickets to museums is paid separately to the cashier of the museum (Alexander III Palace - 400 rubles)
