Description:
One of the main attractions of Great Yalta is the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. No excursion route on the southern coast of Crimea is complete without visiting this place.
Nikitsky Botanical Garden was founded in 1812 on the initiative of the biologist Christian Christianovich Steven. Any tour of the botanical garden certainly ends with a visit to the Palm Alley, created for the 100th anniversary of the Nikitsky Garden in 1912.
Growing here Chinese fan palms are a symbol of the Crimea.
On one side of the alley is a beautiful rotunda, on the other side is a pond with pink and white lilies. Here you can enjoy the beauty of bright salvia, sage and various flowers along slender and tall trees on both sides of the path.
The visitor can take many pictures against the background of exotic palm trees. This is a great place for excursion and rest.
