Wuchang-Su Falls

Yalta, Crimea, Russia

Description:

One of the most beautiful sights of the Crimean Peninsula is the waterfall Uchan-Su. A rare tourist does not visit this place of natural power. Autumn and spring fill the waterfall with an abundance of waters, melting snow. The ideal time to visit the waterfall is March, April. This is the time when you can enjoy the abundant water and the power of flying water. The sound of falling water is carried over a long distance, confirming the Turkic translation of the name of the waterfall “falling, flying water”.

Legend has it that the name Wuchang-Su was worn by a graceful girl who had a crystal voice and a kind heart. In times of hardships to save people, the girl turned into a waterfall, the water of which saved residents from drought and famine.

Near the waterfall there is a cable car listed in the Guinness Book of Records, a place of love and romance - the Silver gazebo, from where a beautiful view opens.
